Nicola is a resident of Grand Forks, North Dakota, and holds a Bachelors Degree in Social Work with a minor in Rehabilitation Services from UND along with a Master of Science in Human Resource Administration from Central Michigan University.
Nicola joined the Vaaler team in 2015, working with healthcare claims, commercial and personal lines claims, and notary bonds. Her work experience encompasses several professional areas including as a medical social worker both in hospital and nursing home settings. Also, thirteen years as a Human Resource and Office Administrator in the commercial construction trade and two years of experience in accounting in the oil, gas and trucking business. She has earned Associate in General Insurance and Associate in Claims Management designations from the Insurance Institute of America.
Her hobbies include reading, sports, and music.
